Vic West Fest is a free, all-ages outdoor festival that celebrates the diverse culture, creativity, and community spirit of Victoria West.

Our mission at the VWCA is to be a welcoming, inclusive hub at the heart of Vic West where neighbours connect, and strangers become friends. Vic West Fest is an annual celebration of this community spirit! We bring together local artists, performers, businesses, non-profit organizations, and community members of all ages. Through music, dance, puppetry, arts & crafts, food & drink, and live performances, we showcase Vic West’s vibrant identity.

The festival features a broad range of artistic programming designed to engage attendees of all backgrounds. Live music highlights multiple genres and showcases the creative talent of local artists.

Our artisan market offers a platform for creators to share handcrafted goods, reflecting the neighbourhood’s entrepreneurial spirit. Food vendors offer a range of culinary delights with both local flavours and global influences, mirroring Victoria’s cultural richness. Beer, cider, mixed drinks and lots of zero proof choices are available in our 19+ Drinks Court.

Families will enjoy a dedicated kids’ zone with crafts, games, and entertainment. Adults and seniors can explore interactive activities that highlight the best of our community programming.

Vic West Fest will be happening rain or shine, so we’ll see you in Banfield Park on June 6^th no matter what! Make sure to bring appropriate clothing and your own blankets and chairs to get comfortable in the park.

Excited for our many food and drink options? To reduce waste, we request that Vic West Fest attendees bring their own cups and cutlery to make this event more sustainable.

We encourage attendees to take transit, walk, or cycle to Aryze’s free Bike Valet, run by Capital Bike, or paddle to the Banfield Dock. There will be no public parking available on site. We anticipate Vic West Fest will exceed 2000 attendees this year!

Volunteer With Us! 

Help us make Vic West Fest 2026 a community day to remember! We are looking for 50+ volunteers to staff the Kids Zone, Drinks Court, Bike Valet and so much more. There’s something for everyone! Click through to read position descriptions and Sign Up to see shift times and select yours.

The event runs 12pm – 6pm on Sat. June 6th, and we need help before, during or afterwards. Most shifts are 3-4 hours, and include a short break. If you’d like to join us for the whole day, we’d love to have you! Sign up for two back to back shifts, and we’ll be sure you get a nice long break to enjoy the festival and recharge.
