Vic West has some incredible gastronomic offers which include local products, international cuisines and a wide range of prices that make it easy for everyone to enjoy a meal. Check out some of these awesome places to eat and let us know which one is your favourite!
If you’re looking for food to grab and go, you definitely have to stop by Fol Epi, Fry’s Red Wheat Bread Bakery, or the recently reopened Lone Tree Bakery. They all have the most amazing bakery products. Are you team sweet or savoury? We must say, it won’t be easy to decide!
For relaxed brunches, don’t miss Fantastico and Spiral Cafe. Both are quiet places 
with very different styles where you can go either to study, work or just hang out for a while. Love music? Spiral Cafe has amazing local music offerings. Check out their weekly schedule!
Tourists and food lovers who want to experience new flavours: we have great news for you! First, we’ll look at Westside Village which has lots of amazing international eats!
La Taquisa is a VWCA staff favourite. Serving up fresh authentic family recipes, this is a must-visit place! The bright colours, friendly staff, and AMAZING food will keep you coming back! Our favourite, the Baja Style Shrimp Burrito, but there really is no wrong choice!
Browns Crafthouse Vic West has a huge international menu including Japanese ramen, Korean fried chicken, super-duper Mexican nachos, and a french dip, among others. The best samples of the world in just one place!
Also conveniently located in Westside Village is Victoria Sushi. They specialize in authentic Japanese sushi, sashimi, and other specialty rolls. With eat-in or take-out options this is a great option for people with all types of schedules.
Located elsewhere in the community, The Crown Palace specializes in spicy Szechuan cuisine and also has lots of other Cantonese favourites. Their claim to fame, their tasty Ginger Fried Beef! Want more? Visit Casa Nova Cafe & Bakery and feel the Portuguese vibes or come back to basics and go to Big Wheel Burger for a re-created classic American cheeseburger.
If you’re looking to take in some spectacular views of the inner harbour, you definitely have to think about these next three options!
LURE Restaurant & Bar is located in the Delta and it’s an excellent venue for formal or informal meetings in a very peaceful and modern environment. Every dish is carefully thought and mixes local finds from Vancouver’s Island, creating a magic result.
Following the same pattern, Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub & GuestHouses is a local staple. They’ve been brewing their own beer since 1984 (and offer tastings!), provide an excellent menu, and has amazing prices at their happy hour. Impossible not to be tempted!
And last but not least, Boom + Batten Restaurant & Cafe. It has a wide, contemporary menu, served overlooking the Victoria International Marina. They also sell boards and boxes with different kinds of specialty foods that are perfect for gifts or picnics!

Fol Epi (Dockside)
Open: Yes Hours: 9AM-3PM
Fol Epi Dockside is reopening with window/door service with some important changes. In order to better support their staff and suppliers, Fol Epi is raising their prices to practice business according to their beliefs. Fol Epi is moving away from a tip system and asks that customers are nice, kind and patient to their staff.

Fry’s has adjusted their hours to 8:30AM-4:00PM. They also offer delivery options for elders and immune-compromised! For delivery, call (250)-590-5727 before 11AM and it will be delivered that afternoon. When the order is delivered, they’ll leave a slip of paper with the cost and instructions for e-transfer or to keep as an IOU when all this finishes up.
They can only handle a small number of deliveries and priority is given to those who really need it.

Lone Tree is now open at 811 Craigflower Rd! If you can’t make it in, you can find their treats at The Red Barn Market and Spiral Cafe.

The Spiral Cafe will open with limited hours and some outdoor (and limited indoor) seating, on WEDNESDAY, June 3rd. At this time, hours will be Wednesday through Sunday daytimes: Wed/Thurs/Fri 7am to 4pm, and Sat/Sun 8am to 4pm.

La Taquisa’s Vic West location is open 11-7 daily! They’ll be accepting orders for take-out and pick-up and you can pay and order by phone or email (available 10:30AM-6:30PM!). They’re also offering family and couple meal packets!
