Free Winter Veggie Plants!!

Interested in growing a winter veggie garden? Thanks to the City of Victoria’s “Get Growing Victoria” Program we have free vegetable plants for those in need! 🍅🥬🥕

Priority for this program is being given to those who are financially or physically impacted by the pandemic and that have a desire to grow food but may have limited access to plants and garden materials, or are facing barriers to access fresh, locally grown food.

Stop by Banfield Park on Friday, August 21st between 10:00 AM-2:00 PM (or until we run out) to pick up things like lettuce, Chard, Kale, Mustard Greens, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Kohlrabi, Peas, and Green Onions!

To reserve your seedlings, please fill out our online form https://forms.gle/U9TpMeAuxqcGp2cx6

Help us spread the word! Share this info with your neighbours so we can provide plants to as many people as possible!

I share my garden with a daughter. We’re all quarantined at the moment. Can we give you a list? If we’re better, we’ll pick up. Maybe someone can help with a deposit into our trunk if we’re not well yet on the 21.
