What Community Means to Amy
“Community is something that we all need as social beings. Community can be wonderful, terrifying, messy, but most of all, rewarding. Why? Because people learn to know, trust, and collaborate with one another. It’s not always easy, especially when people possess different values and opinions, but that gives opportunity to seeing and learning from various perspectives. Community is an art that has somewhat been lost, and yet the very aspect that is needed most in this society.”
Amy brings a deep appreciation for human connection into her teaching. For her, community isn’t just a concept — it’s a living, growing practice of shared learning and understanding.
