Free Workshop: Backyard Gardening Basics
We want to notify you of a few changes we’ve made to ensure we’re keeping everyone safe and healthy!
Due to on-going social distancing measures, we have decided to move the event online. Backyard Gardening Basics will now be lived streamed on the Victoria West Community Association’s Facebook page on April 23rd at 5:30 PM. Here’s the link!

If you’ve never watched a Facebook Live here’s a quick how-to guide!

Join us and get some tips on creating a thriving food garden! We’ll look at a variety of ways to grow food whether in the ground or in containers. We’ll also be exploring soil, water, and how to harvest food year-round. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A so make sure you bring your food growing questions! We’re also encouraging people to submit any specific questions they might have before the event by emailing Julie at volunteer@victoriawest.ca. This way we can better understand how we can help get you on the path to gardening success!
