Job Posting- Childcare Team Lead/ECE Victoria West Community Association
Reporting to the VWCA Child Care Manager, the Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day to day of the Preschool and Childcare Program (3-5 Years) while providing excellent care to children in the centre.
This leadership position will require the candidate to lead the educators in delivering high-quality care in accordance with our philosophy and policies, and ensuring the health and safety of all children are met through Child Care Licensing Regulations.
* Standard First Aid and CPR
* Clean criminal record check
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education
* Current BC License to Practice
* Documentation in accordance with Community Care Facilities Branch licensing requirements
HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week. Hours may fluctuate due to program requirements.
RATE OF PAY: $20.00/hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation. Shared benefits plan after probationary period.

Have a passion for working with children and youth? Consider volunteering at Community Centre drop-in activities. Criminal record check and previous experience volunteering with youth required.
Got a knack for fixing things? Victoria West Community Association is always looking for people who can help with small repair jobs.
Do you enjoy working outdoors? Victoria West has three community gardens with a fourth garden being planned. If you would like to share your growing knowledge or learn more about growing your own food, consider joining.
