Join us for an introduction to Yoga Philosophy and practice in this Ashtanga style class. Ashtanga, Sanskrit for 8 branches, offers practitioners guidance through 8 levels, principles, and practices of the Yoga tradition. We will journey through these 8 branches during our 8-week period, with each session beginning with a short lecture on philosophy, followed by a guided practice inspired by the corresponding topic. This program is perfect for curious individuals who are seeking to deepen their knowledge and practice of yoga. As an introductory course, both material and activity are designed for beginners.
